WOW!, Prunus Girl at Last!

So yeah, we kind of fell off our game on Prunus Girl, and each chapter was a few days behind, until this one ended up pretty far behind the mag release. There's always a silver lining though, as Prunus Girl doesn't have a chapter for July, so it kind of just ended up spreading out that month of haitus over the past 3-4 releases rather than having a full extra month break all at once. Or something. Anyway, there's two-three Kaichu! chapters nearing release, three OtoBoku chapters in typesetting, and the next Mei chapter is >50% translated, so prepare your bodies.

WOW!, All the People Who Had Doubts About Us Being Back Sure Feel Dumb!

I think I'll do this post in an order based on which stuff I think people were anticipating the most.  4 releases and a v2 of that Sensei no Boku chapter tonight.

First, Prunus Girl.  Since this one was delayed a bit due to my whole travelling thing, the next chapter is only a couple weeks away.  This chapter brings an end to the Shion/Kana arc, and I think the conclusion was really well done.  Maybe seeing the way things wrap up will convince people to whine a little less about their story taking up time in the chapters.

Next, we have the next installment of Kaichu!, in which the battle between Sanno and Kadokawa kicks off!
Kaichu! ch 9 DDL

Following up, we have chapter 6 of Maid in Japan, which is just as off-the-wall ecchi as the previous chapters.
Maid in Japan ch 6 DDL

Finally, we have another release from the first Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru series, chapter 15.  I'm really thinking we're going to do something along the lines of a joint project to help that group that does the second series stop putting out stuff that looks like absolute trash.
OtoBoku ch 15 DDL

And then, wrapping things up, we have the Sensei no Boku chapter one version 2.  This fix is pretty minor, that missing bubble was due to the fact that someone took three bubbles worth of information and put them into two bubbles (they did the same thing elsewhere, but we caught it).  The version 2 release will look prettier in that one spot, but there isn't anything changed in terms of dialogue or story.

WOW! It's Actually a Completed Chapter this Month!

Yup, that's right, a new Prunus Girl chapter. It seems like I measure my life in increments based on this release, every month I have to stop and realize that it's been a full month already... I think it's a pretty good chapter, although haters are probably going to hate, since it's a continuation of the Hanazaka/Wakakusa story from last time. NEEDLESS to come later tonight/early tomorrow morning.

WOW!, Dicks and Lesbians!

Double release tonight, Anal Angel was waiting on typesetting for a while, Prunus Girl raws just showed up a couple days ago.  Anyway, Prunus Girl is a pretty good chapter this month, but some of the pages look unfinished, most likely due to the earthquake and all that.  Anal Angel introduces a new character this time, also this time it's more sex and less talk.

Also, Reversible! should be out in the next day or two.  New Balance Policy soon as well.  Chapter 29 of NEEDLESS is also on the plate.

WOW!, New Prunus Girl Out of Nowhere!

Blogger's on it's period tonight apparently, so I'll try to remember to add an image later when things are hopefully working better.  It's that time of the month again, (for manga releases, I'm done with discussing menses) so here's chapter 21 of Prunus Girl.  If you're interested in my thoughts on the direction of the series, head to my personal blog, since I don't want to drag this post out forever with stuff people might not care about.

To the person that asked about Kaichu!:  It's not dropped or anything, when I said *everyone* was busy, I meant everyone, including mosco, our translator who works exclusively on Maid in Japan and Kaichu!.  We'll always announce it if we're going to drop something, so don't worry that we quietly dropped something without saying anything about it.

Also, if you aren't someone who keeps an eye on torrents, I uploaded a torrent full of sorted trap/gender bender doujins about a week ago on nyaatorrents' adult tracker and on TokyoTosho, so grab it if that's something you're interested in.

WOW!, Are You Excite!?

I know I am. After a month of hiatus, here's Prunus Girl 20! I know I had shit I wanted to say, but I forgot... Anyway, we're recruiting for cleaners again, and also for a translator for OverDrive as I realize more and more that I love reading that series but really dislike translating it. We won't drop it, but don't expect it to move very fast if I'm stuck being the one translating it.

Edit: Kind of a v2 there, pg 12 and 13 got switched around. If you downloaded already, just rename those two pages so that they switch places.

Edit 2: Yamada is drunk so I fixed the link since he couldn't. -KPH

WOW!, Check My Doubles!

Forgive the memetic title this time around, I'm uninspired and it's a double release night.  First up we've got something some people have probably been waiting a long time for, the third series from Waai that The Energy Trade scanlated one chapter of and then dropped, Onnanoko Tokidoki Otokonoko.  We've got chapter 2 for you tonight, chapter 3 should follow shortly.  The other release is Prunus Girl chapter 19, a little behind schedule this month, but all that means is that you get the next chapter sooner, right?  Not sure what order the rest of our projects will be coming out in, so I won't comment specifically, but expect lots of updates in the near future.

Also, the credits are missing NJManga as our raw provider - please make sure to think of them while you read all this stuff that we're releasing that doesn't exist in a public-raw form.

WOW!, We've Been Slow This Past Week

Yeah, yeah, I'm aware Kaichu! chapter 3 is behind schedule.  It's at about 25% done on the TL side, and the cleans are already waiting, so it should come out as soon as I scrape together enough time to finish the translation.  Stupid real life getting in the way and such.  Anyway, Prunus Girl chapter 18 is out first, for a variety of reasons.  The first and foremost being that this is our flagship series, and has a lot more readers waiting on releases.  The second is that it's easier to translate, and I knew I could get it done in one night so we'd for sure have a release before my school week starts again tomorrow.  We're starting the depositfiles stuff to hopefully start bringing in some effortless raw money.  If you really hate depositfiles, check the mediafire archive in a week or so, I'll be mirroring everything after the initial wave of downloads passes for each release.  Mangafox shouldn't be getting chapters uploaded until a few days after the release now, since the traffic on that site is so high, I figured it'd probably be good to route it past our adsense shit and through the despositfiles downloads for now and see how things work.  If anyone sees releases posted over there within three days of our release here, let me know please.  Also, we'll have a v2 of Kaichu! chapter 2 along with the chapter 3 release.  I've been bad about getting to that email, so if that individual that sent me the email is reading this, thanks for catching my slip-up, and feel free to do so in the future as well (the late hours I usually translate during aren't too bad, but I may miss a word and screw up based on contextual cues like that again ;;>_>)

Alright, business out of the way, this is a pretty fun chapter.  Some of you might still be disappointed that Aikawa isn't the focus this time around (he's in it, but probably only about half the time, the chapter's about their class president), but I got a kick out of it.

WOW! Something Unexpected!

I know we're moving a bit slower than you (or we) would probably like, but sometimes personal life, family, and school kind of eat into time that I'd otherwise use for stuff like this.  Anyway, what we've got for today is a special side story chapter for Prunus Girl (it's pretty short).  The next real chapter should come out in the 10/22 issue of Gangan Joker, so hopefully this tides you over till then.  Other releases will come out as they come out, I'm not even sure what kind of schedule to estimate at the moment (it might speed up from the current pace, or slow down, who knows).

WOW, it's Suddenly More Prunus Girl

Alright, I know last time I posted, the next thing up was "Secret Devil-chan," but I also admitted I wasn't having much fun with it and it was progressing rather slowly.  In light of that, when Prunus Girl Chapter 17 raws dropped into my lap, I decided to go ahead and work on this instead for the moment.  (This would have been out three days ago if our cleaner wasn't a bum, too...  if you can clean, and you think you could commit to a better turnaround time than that, feel free to drop us a line)  Anyway, I think I have a torrent in the works for jousou hentai fans...  Also, work on the Waai comics will continue, albiet slowly.

Here's folder links, I think I'll just repost these for now and see if anything happens with reported links:

WOW, we're caught up to Japan

Alright, so first things first, we're proud to bring you Prunus Girl chapter 16, the most recent chapter published in Gangan Joker - meaning we're now caught up with the Japanese serialization, and it'll be month waits between chapters again.  I guess that's both a good thing and a bad thing as a fan when you get caught up like that.  Also, since they're advertising the Drama CD so much, you might have gotten interested in it...  I'm seeding the mp3 version on TokyoToshokan right now, or you can snag it from the DDL's below.

Other than that, I thought it might be nice to let you guys know I already have some raws in my hands for series in Waai vol 2 that we're for sure taking over, so expect Waai stuff to be next on the (non-hentai) plate.
We may do something else by abgrund before taking the plunge into the Waai projects, it all depends on how we feel over the next day or two.

THIS IS IMPORTANT, YOU SHOULD READ IT:
It's looking like someone's been reporting our links to mediafire or something, since earlier today all three Prunus Girl releases and the Love Pura doujin all got removed at the same time.  They're back up, you can grab them here:  http://www.mediafire.com/?nz347zx170bng
I'm going to get a megaupload set up for WOW!scans as well so that we have some backup mirrors going on, but always let me know when you notice something got taken down so I can reupload it.  Before trying to tell me something's down though, make sure to check that folder share link I just posted, as I'm not going to go through the whole blog and change all the direct links every time something gets replaced.  That was a long blog post, so expect another post tomorrow with the scoop on the megaupload stuff, I have some Vocaloid shares to get up anyway.

Prunus Girl 15

Well, chapter 15 is now out.  This brings us to the point where publicly available raws run out, and within one chapter of being fully caught up.  It's also our fourth release in 8 days, so it'll be a little slower process into chapter 16, I think.  Maybe early next week on this one.  Even if you read Juhachi's translation of this chapter on Mangafox, I'd recommend picking up our version, since he made some really...  interesting... choices.  Compare panels two and three of page 15 between ours and his (or the raw and his) and you'll notice that he decided to just remove some text and not provide any translation for it - this isn't the only time he did, but it is the most noticeable

So, after Prunus Girl is caught up, you're wondering how we'll keep busy?  I'm going to try and figure out what's going on with Waai and their scanlators in the next few days, and we may check out some stuff from Change H depending on how things turn out with Waai.  There's always the thought of doing some more porn, that was a lot of fun too...  In any event, we'll definitely keep you all informed of our plans.

Prunus Girl 14

Well, we've finished it at last! (Or already.  The sense of time with these things has gotten a little distorted due to recent events...)
Direct link here:

So, to kind of help sort out what's going on with translations, 14 and 15 are available by some Juhachi guy at Mangatraders.  His translation is worth reading if you're impatient, but it's a speed job, so if you do wind up reading his, snag ours for your archive.  Also, we have an exclusive raw provider (there aren't publicly available raws) for chapter 16, so stuff won't be a clusterfuck anymore.  Our copy of chapter 15 will probably be out tomorrow or sometime Wednesday, I'm planning on having the script ready for Koizumi when he wakes up tomorrow so he can figure out when he's fitting it into his LoL schedule...  That's all I'm going to say to address the Juhachi situation or our current planned schedule for the moment.

Other than that, someone on /a/ asked for some Hideyoshi batch uploads, there's a batch of 7 doujins and a batch of 4 doujins plus a fan art folder.  It's a mix of translated and raw, the translated ones are all properly labeled with their scan group names (none of these were WOW!scans projects):

Prunus Girl Status Update and More c78 Vocaloid

So, since I know a lot of people are waiting (im)patiently for more translations of Prunus Girl, and I promised to keep everyone in the loop so that you don't get worried that things are going to get forgotten again, I figured you could use a rough schedule for the next chapter or two.  Barring any surprises, I'd expect chapter 14 by late Tuesday or sometime Wednesday.  15 will hopefully be done sometime this coming weekend.  After that I'll probably be dying for another few days of rest from translating again, so I won't try to project anything specific for chapter 16.  After that it may be time for another abgrund book (Eien 2, I'm looking at you) for a change of pace.  Also, someone at desuchan's /tr/ bought and uploaded one of abgrund's Taru Yume books, so maybe that'll help tide you all over:
http://www.mediafire.com/?9ky7417biklmwhp

On the Vocaloid front, something just recently got uploaded from c78 that may excite a lot of people...  The picture for this post is the cover from "Centralia," and album full of Rin-rock.  I love Miku, but it sure is nice to get some variety once in a while, and Rin's so suited to rock that you can't help but be happy when an album full of it falls into your lap all of a sudden.  External link for this one, since ALL the tags would be fucked if I tried a reupload for you guys:
http://community.livejournal.com/jdownload/1933863.html
There's also a single that's pretty darn good.  It's really trance-y, and has a heavier beat than a lot of the Vocaloid you hear coming out all the time, which is a nice change of pace too.  It's called "Sky Ended" and it's from "Frozen System Records."  Unfortunately it's only one song with 5 different mixes, but I definitely think it's worth the download:

Prunus Girl 13

Well, it's our first legitimate (non-porn ;;>_>) manga release as WOW!scans!  Prunus Girl chapter 13, The Summer Box Garden War (Conclusion) is finally out!  I don't have too terribly much to say this time around, other than suggesting a reread of chapter 12 before you jump into this one (since it is a continuation, and there is a little thing that you could have missed/forgotten that turns out to be fairly significant).  Find it in the Wow!scans folder, or with this direct link:
http://www.mediafire.com/?x181v0ldzxfcc0s

Inagural release! Love Pura at last!

Well, due to Koizumi playing LoL and lots of perfectionist cleaning fixes (like fixing where words came out of Aikawa's hair),  it took until now for this to be finished...  I think you'll all be happy with it anyway though.  From this release, you might all have a few guesses as to what else we may have in the works, but I'm not going to give away any of the surprises.  I will say that anyone with raws from Waai (Sazanami Cherry, Reversible School Life, or Onn no Ko Tokidoki Onna no Ko) or raws of any of the Taru Yume series of doujins ought to let us know - I'd like to pick those projects up, but raws are scarce.

Also, stuff from WOW!scans has it's own folder in my mediafire, so you can just get there that way without hunting for posts once this front page starts to get crowded.
