Well, everyone except the Mei no Naisho fans, but that's next on the agenda anyway. We've got two v2's and 3 releases today. The Past Future joint is out (meaning yes, SazaCherry is coming soon as well), the sequel to Me and Kawase is out, and chapter 5 of Anal Angel is out. OtoBoku 15 got some fixes for text being mispositioned, and Kaichu! ch 8 got a v2 for a missing page (a chapter starter page - the public raws we're working with until we hit volume three are scanned two pages to an image and got split up improperly by chapter in places).

ReplyDeleteMan, I thought they're going to translate Mei no Naisho this week. Looks like I have to wait for a little while.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the release

ReplyDeleteANAL ANGELLLLLLLL!!!!

Anal Angel! at last, thank you very much
ReplyDeleteThank you so much guys. =)
ReplyDeleteoh, god yes, finally!!
ReplyDeletethank you VERY much
Just for some clarification, I already had Kaichuu chapter 8, and when I compared the pages for both, I noticed that the changes for v2 not only added a page to the beginning of the chapter, but removed a page from the end of the chapter, the one with 178 written on the bottom right. In a much less troublesome issue, the filenames on the v2 skip over 016.png.
ReplyDeleteJust thought I should bring this to your attention.
Thanks for the head's up... I didn't really QC the v2, since it was just supposed to be that one page being added in, I guess I'll have to take a look at it now.
ReplyDeleteFor the SFX I'd like it if they were in just romanji either replaced in the same font, or in smaller characters right next to them.
ReplyDeleteGunyuu Pico Biri Chupa gush :D
Thanks for Yubisaki Milk Tea - I had feared I may never find out how it ends after having read vols 1 to 9!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or is the Yubisaki Milk Tea ending REALLY abrupt?
ReplyDeleteAnon: It's not just you, it does just stop dead. Maybe Miyano is leaving what happens next to the mind of the reader, or maybe had decided to quit now and move onto a different story.
ReplyDeleteI did a bit of searching around, and found some references to Haruki Murakami, and being something of a Murakami fan I can see the parallel, as his novels have a tendency to just STOP all of a sudden.
So, yeah. abrupt, possibly needs a 'time-skip' chapter showing what happens some time later, but stuff happens, it gets a bit metaphysical, but on the whole I'm happy to have read it!
It's hard to complain about stuff not being released when you guys are putting out so much great stuff, but I'll do it anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Docchi?
Other than that I am perfectly content. Great job.
Are you guys on twitter?
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I kind of forgot that chapter was still waiting. Ummmm... I guess I'll do it soon, not going to promise a release time though, since the order at the moment is Mei->Reversible, and then Prunus Girl might be coming out soon after... I will do it, don't worry, it's just a little hectic having these many series floating around with the guy who was doing the TL on all the quarterly stuff for us disappearing.
ReplyDelete>twitter
ReplyDeleteNo. We've got the email address, the blog, a few personal staff blogs, and I think that's plenty of ways to interact with readers. Pushing it further than that seems kind of silly to me.
Twitter is for faggots.
ReplyDeletethanks man, I look fowar to reversivle.
ReplyDeleteno need for twitter '>.> just use the RSS instead '^.^
ReplyDeleteThx for Past Future i needed that fix
ReplyDeletewow thanks a lot
ReplyDeleteI was wondering since it has been so long since a last update, will there be a prunus girl this month or no prunus girl i dont know if it comes out monthly or bi monthly, i know its a stupid question i am just curious
ReplyDeleteThere is Prunus Girl this month, we have the raws, it's just that I'm at Anime Expo this weekend, which was the whole point of my month-and-a-half in California.
ReplyDeleteMOAR ANAL ANGEL! burahghagaha
ReplyDeleteFigured this would be a good place to ask this, but why is crossdressing so popular in Japan?
ReplyDeleteYou have so many magazines dedicated to crossdressing related stories. Most countries dont even have a single one and its a HUGE taboo.
I think there's a lot of things that contribute to the current "otokonoko boom" in Japan. It isn't really something that you can just give an easy answer to... One of the biggest things though, in my opinion, is the way society is modulated in Japan, from the tiers of respectful speech down to how strict and regulated social expectations are in different settings. In a society where one has to be 4 or 5 different people throughout the week depending on where one is and who one is with, it's a lot easier for people to have an interest in something taboo like crossdressing and treat it as simply one more minor facet of their lives, whereas in other societies it would necessarily take on a larger role and be harder to manage due to the lack of modulated role performance. I think a lot of the rest of the climate that makes it easier for the "otokonoko boom" to exist are already by-products of that dynamic, things like the rich lesbian, gay, and okama subcultures being so strong and at the same time so strictly demarcated from the rest of society. Now don't get me wrong, I definitely think you're making a faulty assumption at the same time - crossdressing is definitely still taboo in Japan, and calling it "popular" isn't really correct. It's just that the social climate I described before allows for an interesting setup where taboo behavior may still have its own niche.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite...informative. (not same anon)
ReplyDeleteAnyway.
Someone already did Needless 92, its on mangafox.
Yeah, I saw, our version is in QC and should be out tonight anyway. I'm not too fond of the quality of the editing on the mangafox-only anonymous release.
